Charter Mark
Charter Mark is a nationally recognised tool for continuous improvement in customer services. Using Charter Mark principles helps us determine what our customers want and how our services can be delivered effectively. Successful Charter Mark assessment is recognition of excellence, demonstrating that a high level of service can be expected.
In August 2008 we received our third three year Charter Mark award covering the whole of the Inspectorate and all of the services that we provide. In the Charter Mark assessment report, the Assessor made a series of positive observations about good practice ranging across all aspects of our work including the way we involve customers and partners and not only ask them for feedback, but take a consultative and collaborative approach in taking developments forward.
