Inspections of residential special schools and secure care provision

HM Inspectors and Care Commission Officers work in partnership to inspect residential special schools and secure care provision. Plans are in place to pilot a new inspection model in January 2009 for residential special schools and secure care provision. Full details of the new inspections will be published on the website later this year.
