Tackling inequalities is fundamental to ensuring positive outcomes for all children, including those children in need of protection. The equalities agenda is applicable across all QIs within this framework. It is expected that services using the framework for the purpose of self-evaluation will take full account of the relevant legislative duties5 for public sector organisations.
